Biography

Larry Vaughan has an academic background in strategic planning, implementation and evaluation for organisational development. He has many years of professional experience in sales, marketing, broadcasting and international trade facilitation both in the public and private sectors in Saint Kitts and Nevis. He is the holder of a Masters of Arts Degree in Leading Innovation and Change from the York St. John University in Yorkshire, England.

He is the country’s first participant in the WTO Netherlands Trainee Programme in 2015 in Geneva, Switzerland where his focus was on Trade for Economic Development of Small Island Developing States. Today, he serves as the Saint Kitts and Nevis’ Ambassador to the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) as a well as the country’s Commissioner to the Organisation of Easter Caribbean States (OECS).

Mr. Vaughan has a passion for the inclusion of nationals and other citizens of Saint Kitts and Nevis living and working abroad in the economic, social and cultural life of the federation. He desires to that the Unit will implement policies and programmes that lead to increase connectivity with diaspora which will redound to the national benefit.
