St. Kitts and Nevis Heritage Emergence Programme 2026
The Saint Kitts and Nevis Diaspora Heritage Emergence Programme is a proposed one-week cultural immersion initiative aimed at reconnecting young members of the diaspora (ages 18–21) with their ancestral homeland. Inspired by Kosovo’s successful “Emergence Program,” the initiative seeks to deepen participants’ appreciation for Kittitian and Nevisian heritage, promote national pride, and foster stronger ties between the diaspora and the Federation.
Duration: One (1) week in July 2026
Participants: Diaspora youth aged 18–21
Activities: Cultural workshops, historical and heritage tours, volunteer service, and mentorship sessions.

FUNDING
The programme proposes a cost-sharing structure: Diaspora Organisations: Sponsor airfare for one participant each. Government and Organisers: Cover all on-island expenses such as accommodation, meals, transportation, and programming. Corporate Partners: Support through sponsorships or in-kind contributions (e.g., meals, lodging, transportation).
